The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of personalities, and a gripping narrative featuring angels, evil spirits, and sinister influences growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the initial group of heroes who will branch out from the central cast to begin their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.

This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Given an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before dividing into three separate parties: Warriors, Planners, and Questers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who prefer a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are rare.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear unsuited, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to proceed after a intense opening clash with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose passing started the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, entering Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each member has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, seeks vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile place.
  • The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • However, their position as prominent individuals in the influential clan could help the party reach places they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor pledged a life debt to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that control the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them little choice but to head to the remote area in quest for Casimir.

Future Episodes

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the rest of the cast members to assemble the Questers and Planners parties.

Audiences can expect learning which characters will be in which group in the season’s last Overture episode, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
